SS Crazy Horse Intrepid-Type Explorer
The Intrepid-Types were the last of the "low-warp" exploration vessels built by Starfleet. These ships represented the pinnacle of nuclear fusion-based warp propulsion on Earth. Later vessels, including the NX and Daedalus classes would use matter/anti-matter reactors to travel at much higher velocities. Several Intrepid-Types were refitted with matter/anti-matter reactors for service during the Romulan War. However, no salvageable ships of this class survived the conflict.
